The Blackstone Library supports hands-on learning by offering access to 3D printers. The library currently has a PRUSA Mk3 3D Printer and Creality CR-10 V3. We carry filaments in various colors, and offer drop-in learning sessions.
We encourage you to explore free online computer design applications to learn and create your own designs, which we will then print. Prints are limited by size and time constraints. We cannot guarantee that we can print your desired file or print it at the size you wish, but we will work with you to find an acceptable solution.
You can read more about our 3D printing policy here.
Local experts wanted! If you are interested in teaching 3D printing classes/workshops, please let us know. And if you have 3D printer repair skills, we want to hear from you! Contact us at youthservices@blackstonelibrary.org or call 203-488-1441 x 321.
