Friends of the Blackstone Library is partnering with the Branford Community Gardens, Branford Garden Club, Branford Compassion Club and the Branford Land Trust for fun spring activity on the Branford green. The Friends will be hosting a “mini” book sale to complement our other partner’s activities on the Green and to celebrate spring.
Feel free to browse through our selection of gardening, home projects, nature, pet, and children’s books while you shop for your spring plantings, browse through the Compassion Club tag sale, learn about Branford’s nature trails, or simply become more aware of our other local organizations. The Friends of the Library “mini-book sale” event is scheduled for Saturday, May 18th from 9AM to 1PM. Please mark your calendar and drop by for a visit.

Clean plastic or paper bags for packaging books sold can be used. Just drop them off at one of the JBML Friends collection bins outside of the library or the Volunteer Service Center on Harrison Avenue.
