Underscoring the urgency to find treatments for Covid-19 is stating the obvious. The rapidity at which the virus has spread, leaving significant global damage in its path, highlights our overall under-preparedness. Dr. Nandabalan will discuss how artificial intelligence will help us reduce the time from novel disease breakouts, to identifying treatments for those diseases. Given the pace of the current pandemic, this is a perfect opportunity to expand the traditional approach for developing therapeutics, and lean on artificial intelligence to reduce the window for getting an approved treatment to patients.
