A Blackstone Artists Circle Gallery Talk. This artist’s work will be on display in the upper rotunda gallery for July and August.
Blackstone Library’s Rotunda Gallery presents Yvonne Gordon Moser Art Retrospective 1997- 2022. A regionally recognized artist, art therapist, and author, Yvonne is primarily known for her organic monotypes, feminine figure paintings, and earthy mixed medias. Join us for a demonstration of print making by the artist, followed by a reception and opportunity to explore the exhibit in the upper rotunda gallery. Refreshments provided.
Registration is not required to attend this IN PERSON event. Can’t make it? You’ll have another opportunity to meet the artist at her closing reception on Saturday, August 27 at 3:30pm.
About the Artist:
Yvonne Gordon-Moser (B. 1961) was featured in the Shoreline’s 2016 ‘Home and Garden’ magazine as a “Local Artist Worth Owning.” Her business, The Branford Art Center received the 2017 Chamber of Commerce Small Business of the year award from the state of CT. The BAC also received ‘CTNOW Best of Galleries, 16, 17, 18.
Yvonne graduated from Connecticut college 98’ with a BFA in Printmaking and Drawing, and received a Master’s Degree in Art Therapy from Albertus Magnus in 2015. She self-published her personal recovery story ‘Shattered’, a visual memoir in 2019.
Yvonne and her husband Kelley live as campground nomads in their RV, while he recovers from a 2018 stem cell transplant for bone marrow cancer. They just returned from a cross country trip. Artistic resilience and spiritual grit fuel Yvonne’s passion to create.
