The library will be closed on Sunday, January 14 and on Monday, January 15 in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
The library will close at 5 pm on Wednesday, November 22 and will be closed on Thanksgiving Day. We will be open for our regularly scheduled hours on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
The Friends Holiday Gift Basket Sale takes place December 7-10. Sale begins at NOON on 12/7. Donations of gift baskets/items are now being accepted – bring items to any service desk at the library! Click here for more information.
The library will be open on Friday, November 10 and Saturday, November 11, Veterans Day Observed and Veterans Day, from 9 am to 5 pm.
The Blackstone Library hosted An Evening with the Spirits on October 21. The event raised over $9,000 to support programs and services at the Blackstone Library. Thank you all who came out to support the event, thank you to Branford Wine & Liquor for their sponsorship, and a huge thank you to the volunteers who helped make it run smoothly! The Friends In-Library Book Sale Cart is FINALLY BACK!!! Located on the main level in the library rotunda, it’s filled with fiction, children’s and this month’s special shelf is holiday books.
