Children’s Book Lists
Sometimes finding the right book is half the battle! I am sure we have all heard – pick a subject, historical time period or genre that will spark your child’s interest, but sometimes finding that interest in a sea of authors can be overwhelming. Well, the Library is here to help! Feel free to ask any of our librarians for book recommendations. Also, do not be afraid to bring home a little variety! If your child has soaked up an entire series, bring 3 or 4 new titles to choose from – the key is to present options rather than demands. Having your child with you during the book searching process can be a bonding experience as you begin to understand what gets them excited to read.
